Sara Packard is a Mama, Wife, Teacher, Writer and Creator of One OM at a time. She has been teaching and studying yoga since 2008 and has taught at studios in Syracuse, Boston and New York City. For the past two years her hOMe has been wherever she, her husband Justin, their daughter Audrey and pug Oscar find themselves as they traveled for Justin's job on the national tour of Matilda the Musical. This way of living has really taught Sara that yoga and mediation requires nothing more than some time and a space for your mat and that it really can be done anywhere. More recently, this gypsy mama and family have made their way back to NYC and Sara is back in the yoga studio leading weekly classes at New York City's one and only Baptiste Yoga Studio! You can still catch her every Sunday morning leading classes on Facebook LIVE because she truly wants to make yoga accessible to everyone, no matter where you are in the world and in life. There is a beautiful balance that happens when we can stand both in community surrounded by fellow yogis as well as stand in our own space and practice. However you choose to experience one of Sara's classes, it is her hope to inspire YOU to live your life with authenticity, creativity and lots and lots of love.
Zuda Yoga This is where I fell in love with the practice of yoga and did my first 200 hours. Anne Marie Kramer and the powerful community that she has created will forever be an inspiration to me. Although I have traveled far away from what I consider to be my yoga home, I carry the time spent here in my heart and in every class that I teach.
Lyons Den Power Yoga Bethany Lyons is quite possibly one of my favorite and most influential humans on this earth. She was the first person to hire me to teach yoga at CRUNCH FITNESS, and then back again after she and her husband John opened up this incredible studio. The community here is fierce, powerful, loving and always IN ACTION to make everyone who walks through these doors feel empowered in their own lives. It is a true reflection of Bethany and John and their devotion to the city of NYC and the practice of BAPTISTE yoga.
Baptiste Yoga Baron and his entire team of teachers and leaders, which seems to be growing by the minute, have created a global community and force of nature in this world. His practice of yoga and methodology resonated early on with me as we studied it at Zuda and then again when I took part in Level 1 at Menla Mountain Retreat Center. As described on their website; The Baptiste Yoga practice and Programs are designed to empower you with the focus, training and insight you need to achieve consistent results in the most important areas of your life. A potent physical yoga practice, meditation practice and active self inquiry are used as tools of transformation - encouraging participants to reclaim their full potential, discover creativity, awaken passion, and create authenticity, confidence and new possibilities.
Elena Brower I have known about Elena Brower for years now but it wasn't until I started utilizing YogaGlo as a way to practice at home as a new mom that I really discovered her amazing beauty and teachings. Every class that I take with her opens up a space in me that is filled with pure love and compassion for myself and the art of my own attention, as is Elena's mantra. She represents a softer way of teaching that is no less powerful than other methods I have studied. She truly speaks directly to my heart every single time and inspires me daily with her beautiful words.
